Last day in Tokyo 

Visit of Asakusa quartier with its gorgeous shrine Senjo-ji, the oldest buddhist shrine in Tokyo, and Kaminarimon door.

Then we wandered a long time in Kappabashi street, famous for its hundreds of stores for the kitchenware.

It was amazing to see all these stores selling products as for restaurants than for individuals.

At lunch, I ate sushis 🍣 and tried eel sushi. It wasn’t a bad experience but I think I will not eat again 😜

We have to go back to Tokyo station to catch the Shinkansen for Kyoto, next destination!

I really enjoyed Tokyo 😄

A mix of modernity with skyscrapers and ancient with old/traditional cute houses

4 days are very short to see all what Tokyo hides.

 I hope to come back again to follow the visit 😀 because I missed Sky Tree of Tokyo and Tower of Tokyo (and maybe others I don’t remember now).

Dernier jour à Tokyo

Visite du quartier d’Asukasa où se trouve Senjo-ji, le temple bouddhiste le plus ancien du Japon.

Nous avons erré un long moment dans la rue Kappabashi qui regorge de centaines de magasins vendant tout pour la cuisine, aussi bien pour les particuliers que pour le restaurateurs. Le paradis des amoureux de la cuisine!

Sushis aujourd’hui au déjeuner 🍣

Préparés devant nos yeux et super bons!

J’ai goûté un sushi avec de l’anguille, et bien, ce n’était pas mauvais mais je ne recommencerai pas 😜

Il est temps de retourner à la gare de Tokyo pour prendre le Shinkansen pour la prochaine destination: Kyoto!

J’ai bien aimé Tokyo mêlant modernité avec les hauts buildings et ancien avec les petites ruelles et maisons traditionnelles.

Il me reste à voir la Sky Tree et la Tower de Tokyo (et peut-être d’autres auxquels je ne pense pas en écrivant), ce sera pour la prochaine fois 😀
